CHANGE AT SCALE
Stichting Lisrosa has been fortunate enough to discover the talented team at Ergo who we collaborate with to help us find new ways of deploying capital at an impactful scale. Ergo focusses on rigorously prioritizing the problems where high—leverage philanthropy can have outsized impact whilst attracting world-class talent to solve those problems under a clear ‘theory of victory’.
Over the last years, Ergo has taken the Lisrosa team on an educational journey in order to help us create a philanthropic strategy based on transformational philanthropy principles. Ergo and Lisrosa currently have a transformational grantmaking partnership in place where they essentially run a share of our philanthropic portfolio. This has allowed Lisrosa to keep our own foundation as lean as possible whilst leaning on Ergo’s team and expertise to vet, make, monitor and evaluate grants. Here we mostly focus on pooled-capital opportunities with strong leadership teams that seek to achieve a ‘victory condition’. This means funds have been directed to high-risk, high-leverage projects where we hope our funding of these organizations can have a catalytic effect on achieving our ultimate mission.
INCLUSIVE HOMES
Based in New Zealand, ADAPT is a registered charity trust that wants to be the leader of change in how housing for people with intellectual disabilities is created- an area heavily underfunded, neglected, and for individuals that often struggle to advocate for themselves. ADAPT is doing this by building community-facing independent universal design homes for life, especially for people with intellectual disabilities. These homes are part of a broader innovative concept designed by ADAPT. Strategically, New Zealand is the ideal country to drive through this change as it is a smaller market but one where support services are fairly developed and have the intention on providing individualized support rather than clustering people together.
ADAPT’s concept is based on the believe that everyone deserves a place they can truly call home. A place that gives a true sense of belonging. A place that intuitively encourages engagement with others whilst at the same time providing a space of solace and privacy, where each individual can be themselves. They recognise that every one of us needs space to be alone but never lonely.

REGREENING AFRICA
We are proud to support Justdiggit through the UBS Optimus Foundation, aligning with our commitment to innovative solutions that address climate change at its roots. Their strategies go beyond traditional conservation — they harness the power of nature to reverse climate change and revive ecosystems in some of the world's most fragile landscapes. Renowned for techniques like rainwater harvesting and reforestation, they transform degraded, arid lands into lush, green ecosystems that boost biodiversity, improve water cycles, and strengthen local communities. Their work sparks a ripple effect, empowering farmers and youth to become climate champions and land restorers. By blending scientific solutions with community-led action, Justdiggit is redefining what’s possible for climate resilience and environmental recovery. We are supporting their digital regreening project to drive greater efficiencies and expand their impact into more regions, ensuring their innovative approach reaches even more communities. Their inspiring approach turns hope into impact, demonstrating that collective efforts can heal the planet—one landscape at a time—and inspire lasting change worldwide.
INCLUSIVE PLAYGROUNDS
Accessible, inclusive play remains an underfunded and often neglected area of public investment, and we are proud to partner with Magical Bridge Foundation to turn that inequity into joyful, tangible change. Their concept is truly unique—inclusive by design—creating play spaces where children and families of all abilities participate together without barriers.
Founded in 2016, the Palo Alto California-based nonprofit designs and builds award-winning playgrounds, community parks, and thoughtful companion programs that remove today’s typical physical, sensory, and social barriers to experience a sense of belonging. Each Magical Bridge site combines universal design features—smooth surfacing, sensory-rich equipment, wayfinding cues, and quiet zones—with intentional programming and community outreach to ensure children with disabilities, seniors, and neurodivergent individuals can fully participate alongside peers.
Magical Bridge’s approach blends expert design, research-informed best practices, and local partnerships to deliver spaces that promote physical activity, social connection, and emotional well-being. Their playgrounds are catalysts for inclusive community-building, demonstrating how accessible public spaces improve health, foster empathy, and strengthen neighborhoods. In addition to building playgrounds, the Foundation offers design consulting, educational resources, and volunteer-driven programs that help municipalities, schools, and civic groups replicate inclusive play across the country.
For over a decade, Magical Bridge has proven that playgrounds do more than bring joy—they can transform entire communities. With our support, we can expand this model worldwide, creating a world of inclusion, connection, and belonging for children and families everywhere.
CREATING SPACE TO SPORT
We are inspired to support the Johan Cruyff Foundation. Their vision goes far beyond sport, they harness the power of play to create opportunities for children and youngsters worldwide to connect, grow, and thrive. With a strong record in inclusive sport and social development, the Cruyff Foundation committed to enabling that every child, regardless of background or ability, can experience the joy and benefits of sport. Their programmes such as Heroes of the Cruyff Courts bring education, physical activity, and social interaction together, turning outdoor facilities into vibrant places of inspiration. By fostering teamwork, confidence, and resilience, the Cruyff Foundation creates impact that goes beyond the game. Building healthier and more inclusive communities. Through their efforts, they prove that sport can change the world, creating space for children everywhere, with fun, fairness, and inclusion at the core.
